Duffy
Duffy embarked on the international scene with Rockferry, a debut album that sold over 6.5 million copies worldwide of which 700,000 were sold in France (also the highest sales in 2008 in Britain) and won a myriad of awards, including three BRIT Awards and one Grammy.
Benefitting from Amy Winehouse’s legacy with a return to a more soul/R&B sound inherited from the 60s-70s, Duffy made a comeback in 2010 with a second opus, “Endlessly”, for which she totally changed the team. The Brits Bernard Butler and Jeannette Lee gave up their places to Albert Hammond Sr, songwriter among other things to Céline Dion and Whitney Houston.
